CRH Typical Day
At Coast Range Heliskiing, no two days are ever the same. We have the ultimate combination of world class mountain terrain and exclusive small groups to suit each guests' needs.
Our day begins each morning in Whistler village. Typically we meet in the lower lobby of the Westin Resort & Spa which is next to the Whistler gondola.
* We meet at 7.30 or 7.45am depending on the location of your accommodations
* The CRH Shuttle departs at 8.00am
* We arrive at the CRH base facility in Pemberton at 8.25am
* And return to Whistler usually by 4.30pm
Upon arrival at our base facility you will be welcomed by our friendly staff with hot coffee, tea and a light continental breakfast of fresh fruit and danish. You will be fitted with powder skis (if required), and complete the required paperwork.
Next, we divide into groups of four or five based on skill level or specific request. You will complete a comprehensive safety briefing with your guide which includes a personal transceiver orientation. After mastering the use of your personal transceiver you will be introduced to your pilot who will take you through the helicopter safety orientation. Lift off is approximately 10.00am. Typically we complete 3 runs prior to lunch which is served in the alpine amidst the snow capped mountains and beautiful frozen lakes. After lunch, you are refueled and ready for more powder turns.
No ski day is complete with out a proper après. Once you've finished skiing for the day we'll return to our heli-base for a few bevies on us, giving you a chance to look through photos and video from the day and chat among powder friends. At approximately 4:00pm we'll board the shuttle and make our way back to Whistler.
With our Powder Hound Package you get 6 runs
And with our Discovery Package you get 4 runs
**Additional runs are available at $105 per person, based on a group of 4.
**On our Private Elite Package we will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation with a private shuttle.
